This blog is mostly about guitars, well not just guitars, beer as well. This post is about a very special guitar and an even more special girl. This guitar is absolutely unique and belongs to a girl that I love more than life itself, she is just the most gorgeous girl you could ever imagine, with her blond hair and blue eyes and a look that makes your heart skip two beats and melt. Today she is just 17 months and 1 day old.
This guitar is made out of ply wood, it comes from the ply tree, the ply tree is virtually unknown and a best kept secret. There is no Wiki for the ply tree so you just have to take my word for it. The soundboard, back and sides and fretboard are all made from ply wood. The soundboard was a bit beaten up so I stripped it back to the wood and decorated it, I have coated it with Sadolin gloss floor varnish, it is non toxic and so should be okay for kids.

One day this little girl will be able to lookup the names of the artists on her guitar and find out by whom I was musically influenced.
