I have managed to get the headstock done and I am quite pleased with it, it should look pretty damned good when it is finished properly. I have nearly finished the heel, maybe another hour or two and it will be okay. Once the sound box is put together it would be very difficult to do anything else with the heel without running the risk of damaging the sides, so it is imperative that I get the heel sorted out.
Today I have removed the 3 x 40Watt light bulbs from my work room and replaced them with 3 x 11Watt energy saver bulbs, my room has never been so bright, might have to start wearing sun shades.
I decided I don’t like the rosette inlaid into the soundboard. I am going to put that soundboard on ice for now and make a new soundboard and keep it more in line with the standard classical guitar look. I did look into making my own rosettes but decided it was quite probably the most boring thing to do so I have purchased three rosettes and just waiting for them to arrive.
