I decided to put a rosewood strip down the length of the back and it came out pretty good. Bracing the back and adding the rosewood strip took 3 hours, To glue the front and back to the sides – complete the sound box – took 5 hours. The reason all the times are in complete hours is because I am rounding up the times to the complete hour.
As can be seen I am using a couple of heavy weights and a strip of wood to hold the rosewood strip into place while the glues dries.
For the first time I am using the mould to glue the front and back to the sides. The clothes pegs make excellent little wedges for the job as can be seen in the picture below.

This is the best sound box I have made so far, it is dimensionally correct and that is due to the mould.
